To create work I usually find myself outside, travelling without certain destination, focussing on seemingly insignificant details. The chaos that arises in locations is what fascinates me most, searching for order within this chaos as focal point. I work based on my own intuition, this enables me to research and discover details or moments that in daily life that might go by unnoticed and unappreciated.
The moments I’m interested in is when things overshoot their original function creating the possibility of a new interpretation, within this a mechanical rhythm can arise. This rhythm seems mechanical but within this certain imperfections arise I try to create an atmosphere in which these elements have not been viewed before, creating another form of awareness, for me this functions as a trigger, enabling me to place these details on pedestals.
Society as non-stop mechanism is the main focus in my work. I use the camera to document, deconstruct and construct objects, situations and moments.
