This ongoing series plays with photography as a trustworthy and truthful medium by creating some confusion about what is actually happening in the image, or why it is happening. These images represent a fraction of my mind, the urge to capture something elusive I do not yet understand or did not understand when I was taking the photo. My aim is not to show my subjects’ personalities, to comprehend the scene they interact in or reflect any sort of objective reality. As a photographer, I instead strive to explore incomprehension, the fleeting gap between one thought and another.
